Hourly observations from four LISICOS buoys (University of Connecticut), four NOAA
shore stations and ten USGS river gauges. Each value is shown with its age and compared with the preceding weeks and the same
dates in earlier years, so that present conditions and short-range forecasts can be read against recent experience. The map adds surface
temperature, chlorophyll-a and water clarity (NASA, NOAA) and modelled currents (NECOFS, UMass Dartmouth). Values that fail
a quality check are flagged with the reason.
